Monica Michelle Castro Marquez (born 22 April, 1999) knows professionally as Montsy is a salvadoran rapper from Soyapango, El Salvador. Her first projects in 2019 with "Te La Debia", "Hip House Session #1" and "Trastornos" were the key to get her first opportunities with more influential groups in music being the last song that led her to record with The Cypher Effect her first presentation on YouTube channels in Los Angeles with her single "Por Siempre" and two years later she released "No Fellas" with them. After that she continued to release singles and small projects she named "Flow Basico" to demonstrate her writing and delivery skills. Her first Boom Bap Type Beat EP "CATARSIX" was release on 26 January 2024 after she moved from Sacramento California to Atlanta Georgia to continue growing in the music industry.
